I started working with Kelli at a point in my life where I had a number of things going on for which I felt completely paralyzed as to how begin addressing.  It was by chance that I ran into Kelli, and decided to gift myself a chance to start feeling better.  Having a health and fitness background, I knew it was more than simply starting to exercise, and Kelli’s training is holistic and well rounded.  I was struggling with low energy, zero motivation, sleep issues, high stress (and climbing blood pressure), and a general feeling of being overwhelmed.  Right from the start, Kelli listened, took notes, and made an outline of what we would tackle, with goals.  From there, every other week, we would gauge where I was and what direction I needed to go.  Her “homework” kept me moving forward and reinforced and streamlined our plan of action for my well-being.  Kelli has a way of leading me to the areas that need to be focused on at that time, and guides me with her knowledge and relatable, humble wisdom.  I’m truly astounded by the areas of my life that Kelli has impacted – not limited to nutrition, exercise, career, organization, relationships, mental health and autoimmune concerns.  I can’t say enough about the changes I see in all areas of my life, and the reminders she plants that continue to motivate me even after our visit ends.

After a short consultation, Kelli presented a “circle of life“ exercise to me. At first I was a bit apprehensive but by completing this exercise, Kelli was able to pinpoint my stress areas in my life. Having been very physically active in my youth (swimming & gymnastics) and growing into middle age without my weight being an issue, I always assumed I was in good shape.  Until I watched my nonagenarian mom take falls and realize that having inherited her osteoporosis, I was not.  The best thing I could do (aside from taking bone-building meds) was improve my muscle strength and balance.  That’s what led me to Kelli. 

 

She is gold, incredibly knowledgeable with a  holistic approach to everything – physical health, diet, stress management.   When I shared that I had lost my thyroid to an autoimmune disease, her grasp of that condition amazed me.   And she is a great listener, always fully engaged throughout our sessions (I have had trainers engaged in cell conversations as I did my reps).  Knowing that I live 30 miles away, Kelli gives me things I can do at home as well as at the gym. 

 

I would recommend Kelli to clients of all ages.  Working with her, I am becoming the best version of myself!

I am a regular gym exerciser who wanted some new routines, and Kelli was the perfect trainer for me. We met twice and she gave me two very different work outs that I continue to use today. We discussed what I was interested in doing to compliment my group classes, and then developed one indoor and one outdoor routine. She was willing to work with me even though she knew I was not interested in weekly sessions.  Thanks Kelli, you are the best!
